EDC OK’s downtown parking plan

Toward the close of their regular meeting for September last week, the Forney EDC Board of Directors approved a plan to add additional parking in the downtown area. The decision came after an executive session that began at 7:50 p. m. and was closed at 8:37 p. m. Earlier in the meeting, directors held a preliminary discussion of downtown parking and related improvements.
