Council designates Industrial District for Luminant property

During their first regular meeting for September Tuesday night, the Forney City Council voted to designate an Industrial District for the property now owned by Luminant, which also owns the Forney Power Plant located on that property Action Item 1 on the agenda was formally styled “Discussion and approval of an Ordinance designating an Industrial District for the Luminant Property and approval of an Industrial District Agreement with the property owner.”
