Council announces settlement with Luminant

After an executive session which began at 6:42 p. m. Tuesday night, the City Council announced a settlement with Luminant concerning the proposed annexation of the property occupied by the Forney power plant. Council member Mary Penn moved to go into executive session and Council member Cory McGee seconded. All Council members voted in favor. The Council returned to open session at 8:14 p. m. by unanimous “yes” vote on a motion by Mary Penn, seconded by Council member David Johnson.
