Commissioners receive transportation updates, approve engineering firms

During a rare afternoon special meeting Monday, the Kaufman County Commissioners Court heard two major road plan updates and then considered and approved the most qualified engineering firms for nine road projects in the county. The special meeting began at approximately 1:30 p. m. in the conference room on the second floor of the Kaufman County Courthouse Annex in Kaufman. The meeting drew a full room of visitors, including various county and city officials.
