City auditor: Clean audit for city

City auditor Mike Conway of Conway Company, CPA P. C. of Greenville, was present at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting to give the annual audit report as required by law to city officials and the public. Conway began his report by congratulating the city staff for receiving, once again, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence, which was awarded to the City of Forney for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2012. Conway said that his firm represents many cities throughout the state and that about only five have achieved this honor.
