FISD earns ‘Superior Achievement’ rating in financial accountability

FORNEY, Texas—The Forney Independent School District Board of Trustees and District administrators recently received a rating of ‘Superior Achievement’ for fiscal year 2013-2014 under the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST), the state’s finance accountability rating system. The Superior Achievement rating earned by the District is the state’s highest rating possible demonstrating the quality of Forney ISD’s financial management and reporting system.
