The “Tabor Letter” beginning approximately 1860

Last week, Richard Bramblett, whose mother was Nora Lea Roddy Bramblett (born on the Irish Ridge, now Talty area, in 1893), introduced a 1943 letter that had been hand-written by J. A. Tabor (aged 81 years) to his niece, Jenny Fleming (born Virginia Lea Pinson), Mr. Bramblett’s great aunt. The letter describes the trip from Kentucky to Forney, Texas, and various stops before and after the exact arrival.
