Preliminary planning underway for ‘Forney 140’

On Monday, representatives of local organizations were invited to form a steering committee to spearhead planning for a celebration tentatively dubbed “Forney 140”. The invitation was issued during a special luncheon kickoff meeting hosted by the Tourism Committee of the Forney Chamber of Commerce at the Best Western Plus Christopher inn & Suites.
