P&Z holds June meeting

The Forney Planning and Zoning Commission began their June 4 meeting by sitting as the Capital Improvement Advisory Committee under the direction of Richard Dormier, the city engineer. Dormier reviewed the future projects for water and sewer and requested that the Advisory Committee adopt recommendations and water and sewer impact fees as he has recommended. After a questionad- answer period, Advisory Committee member Steve Cunningham made a motion to recommend to the City Council that they adopt the recommendations for the water and sewer impact fees as presented by Mr. Dormeir. The motion drew a second by Advisory Committee member Brigham Wilcoxson.
