Forney veteran of WWII, other vets treated to day in Washington, DC

A World War II veteran who lives in Forney was flown with other area veterans to Washington, D. C. Oct. 15 under a program run by Honor Flight Fort Worth. Honor Flight Fort Worth provides expense-paid trips to the nation’s capital so that veterans can visit national war memorials.
