A few weeks ago, when I was writing the series about “Shorty” Higgins and his 103 years of living, I began to think of some of the other deceased “older” Forney folks I had known as a youth. Of course, at my present young age, this narrows the focus to people still living during the mid-1950’s and later and how I remember them and their lives during my era. As I looked at the FHPL archives pages online, I browsed posted obituaries and/or photos of tombstones of the following people and found out some were pretty old and some were younger than I had thought!
