A hunting story (Part 3)

As Winston and Leni waited in near-complete silence interrupted only by the rumble of thunder from the approaching storm, the first streaks of dawn were greeted by the chirping of birds and the rustling of normal life in the woods. Winston remembered when hunting with his grandfather when he was just a boy, when most of these natural noises were drowned out by the sounds of traffic along the International Highway just to the south.
