Our last day in Scotland, Lori and I got to do one thing we had always dreamed of doing. We took a 200-mile drive through the Scottish Highlands. I’ll have to say that trip was a lot more journey than destination. We saw breathtaking views of the hills where few people have ever lived. We drove down roads that were far too narrow for two cars to pass. If another car approached in the oncoming lane one of you had to find a turnout and wait. We saw countless partridge, pheasant, magpies, rabbits and even a fox. But the best part was just sharing the experience with each other.
