Patriots’ Day, the day Americans pause to remember those killed in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, is coming up. It will be observed this coming Sunday as the 15th anniversary of the attacks that killed or injured hundreds in the old Twin Towers in New York City, killed or injured scores in an attack on the Pentagon, and destroyed a jetliner full of innocent lives by causing it to crash into a field in Pennsylvania.
