Laymen’s Corner

We cannot leave Jesus Christ in the manger. If we do, the will be no plan for salvation given to us, and there will be no teaching about Heaven and the way to get there. There will be no Bible to study and learn about life from GOD’S viewpoint. To Christians, Christmas is a beautiful time, (and often fattening), but we somehow manage to overcome all that and enjoy the reason for Christmas and the family members we seldom see at other times. Often we can grow a little in our spirit during this time of year. We see good Christmas programs at our church and other churches as well. Christmas is also a hectic time for most people.
