A lunch box brings back memories of my grade school days
with Cary.
In my study at home, an old metal lunch box sits unobtrusively on top of some built-in cabinets, surrounded by mementos of trips Judy and I have taken. It’s the kind school kids carried in the 1950s— oblong, almost square, with rounded corners and a metal suitcase-style carrying handle. Inside, there’s an old-style thermos with a glass lining.
