What do the following transactions have in common? —Cashing a check to buy groceries —Filling out paperwork at the doctor’s office —Getting on an airplane —Obtaining a passport —Going through a criminal background check All of the transactions I’ve mentioned require you to produce a driver’s license or other form of valid identification.
