During his Presidential campaign, Donald Trump promoted his desire to ban all Muslims from immigrating to the U. S. As far as I can tell, that plan is still on the table.

Trump should reconsider. Not only is his reasoning faulty; his plan, if carried out as he describes it, is very dangerous.

Trump’s reasoning is faulty because he has either forgotten or is deliberately denying that the Muslims that make up a majority of members of that faith are not radical and do not support terrorism. Non-radical Muslims have said over and over again that Islam forbids the taking of innocent life. In that respect, Islam is just like its two sister faiths, Judaism and Christianity. All three of the Abrahamic religions forbid murder in the strongest possible terms.
