The exciting moments of pregnancy have turned to sorrow and heartfelt loss with the death of our baby girls, Paisley Faith Carteé and Kinsley Grace Carteé. Paisley and Kinsley were born on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 1:10pm to parents, Tommy and Kayla Carteé at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Paisley weighed 1.8 ounces and was 6 inches long. Kinsley weighed 8.2 ounces and was 9.5 inches long. Both angels got to be held in our arms, as well as in the arms of several family members and friends. They received lots of hugs and kisses, and were told “I love you” an uncountable amount of times. The Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation, as well as the amazing hospital staff, provided volunteer photographers to record their short time here with us. Paisley and Kinsley are deeply loved and missed by their Daddy and Mommy: Tommy and Kayla Carteé; Big brothers: Preston and Hunter; Grandparents: Johnny and Amy Learned, Kevin and Carla Hagerich, Henry and Laurie Alvarez; Great-grandparents: Sandy Greer, James and Wynelle Ivey, Linda Tramel, Beatrice Alvarez; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many others. Paisley Faith and Kinsley Grace will always remain our precious baby girls, and Preston and Hunter’s little sisters. We know we will hold them again in Heaven one day.
