Voters who went to the polls Tuesday noticed two county bond proposals on their ballot. Proposition 1 in this Kaufman County special election called for the issuance of $56 million in road tax bonds for road construction and improvements within Kaufman County. Proposition 2 called for the issuance of up to $19,850,000 in general obligation bonds to pay for a new justice center.
