Goal line stand helps Jackrabbits defeat Royse City, 46-42

ROYSE CITY (Friday, September 18, 2015)—Thanks to a memorable goal line stand, the Forney Jackrabbits defeated Royse City in a wild game by a count of 46-42. This game was the District 12-5a opener for both teams. With the win, Forney improves to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in District 12-5A play. Royse City falls to 2-2 and 0-1 respectively. To set the scene, Forney was ahead 46-42 in the final minute of the game. But Royse City was driving. After a long run by Royse City’s senior quarterback Courtland Vance, the Bulldogs had first and goal at the Rabbits 7 yard line.
