Helen Marie Dozier Stark, beloved wife and mother, passed away July 2, 2016. She was born April 15, 1923 in Forney, Texas, the daughter of Sam Dozier and Beulah Howe Dozier. She was the faithful wife of Ollie Stark for more than 75 years who preceded her in death by only six weeks. Ollie, The Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliar y, her close friends from Forney, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren had been her “job” for over seventy years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ollie; son, Rodney Stark; granddaughter, Brandi Stark; sisters, Joyce Evelyn and Mildred Jones; brothers, Bryce, Lewis and James. She is survived by her son, Leslie Stark and his wife, Murlene; granddaughters, Kristen Pearce and her husband, Mark and Tiffany Chick and her husband, Donny; great grandchildren, Hunter, Fisher and Lilly Pearce, Aubrey and Austin Chick, Krystle Fuller and her husband, Jake; great-great grandchildren, Ty and Liberty Fuller. Funeral service is 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at First United Methodist Church, 414 W. Broad St., Forney, TX 75216. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, at the Church, prior to the service.
