Mrs. Cecil Adele Croxton, 94; passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in Waxahachie, Texas. Mrs. Croxton was born October 18, 1919 in Kaufman County, Texas. Mrs. Croxton met and later married Roddy (Armon) A. Croxton, Sr. To this union were born two sons, Robert and Roddy, Jr. Mrs. Croxton was a homemaker and mother. She spent her time creating and maintaining a safe and loving home for her husband and sons. She loved family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her warm smile, open heart and giving spirit will truly be missed. Ms Croxton is preceded in death by her parents, Walter C. Shaw and Debby Jacobs Shaw, her husband, Roddy (Armon) Sr., son Robert Croxton; grandson Adam Croxton; greatgrandson, Christopher Croxton; brothers, Leonard, Vernon and Billy and sister Ruthie. Those left to celebrate her life include her son, Roddy Croxton, Jr. and his wife Mila; grandchildren, Bryan Croxton, Deborah Robertson and Jamie Croxton; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Jennifer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. A graveside service and interment was held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Lawrence Cemetery.
