HOPPIN’ AROUND

When I was in first grade, I was usually reasonably well-behaved, but when I had a mind to, I could be a handful. One day when I was in a contrary mood, I really acted out. First I used a crayon to draw a picture of an ether inhaler (a sieve-likedevice that had often been used to put me to sleep for surgery) on the pages of a large paperback textbook.
