FISD cross country teams run well at Green Hill meet

On Saturday, August 23, the Forney ISD Cross Country Teams competed in the 30th annual Greenhill 6 Mile Relay. Let me explain how the relay works. You have a team of 4 runners and each of them runs 1.5 miles before they hand off the relay stick to the next athlete. EX: 1.5 miles * 4= 6 miles. Besides the Forney ISD teams, some of the other notable schools at the meet were Dallas Highland Park, Prosper, Southlake Carroll, Arlington Martin, Waco Midway, Justin Northwest, Denton Guyer, Alvarado, and Coppell.
