Council authorizes City Manager to execute comprehensive plan

During a longer-thanusual regular meeting Tuesday night, the Forney City Council authorized City Manager Brian Brooks to execute an agreement with la terra studio, inc, for an update of the city’s comprehensive plan. By law, the City of Forney must update its comprehensive plan ever y five years. In a presentation on the matter, Director of Community Development Peter Morgan told Council members that the city is in Year 5 of the required time interval.
