FEDC OK’s plan to terminate Zanata finish-out agreement

During a brief regular Forney EDC meeting Jan. 8, the FEDC board passed a motion to recommend a plan to terminate a finishout agreement between the EDC, DPR Builders and Zanata. The performance and lease agreements regarding Zanata will be considered at a future EDC meeting. In the absence of EDC chairman David Conner, Director Joe Dan McBeth called the Jan. 8 meeting to order at 6:33 p. m. Besides McBeth, directors in attendance included Kristin Clickner, Marty Scott, Kym Tayamen, and Fred Alexander— enough to constitute a quorum. Gina Nash was present as a representative of the City of Forney.
