FEDC recognized for TEDC community economic development awards

FORNEY, TX—The Forney Economic Development Corporation was recently recognized for merit recognition in community economic development by the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC). Forney was one of thirty communities across the state recognized by the trade organization. Communities were required to submit a project or event the organization had accomplished within the past year. Forney submitted their Entrepreneur Forum, which took place in March 2016 with over thirty participants and partners in economic development, including the Small Business Development Center.
