A STORY ABOUT KING SOLOMON, THE SON OF KING DAVID
Solomon was not a strong man like his father King David, but he was the one chosen by GOD Himself to take David’s place as king of Israel. When Solomon was crowned king, he was overwhelmed with the responsibility of ruling over such a vast number of people. GOD appeared to him in a dream one night and asked him what he would wish for the most. Solomon told GOD that he was not able to rule over this great nation because he was young and inexperienced, so, Solomon asked GOD for wisdom to be a good king and rule over the people well.
