Quite a few students at Johnson Elementary School have a new friend. In Hungary. Johnson’s sixth grade social studies students have been studying Europe. On Monday, each of the classes had the opportunity to converse via Skype with Melinda Joni, a 16-yearold Hungarian high school student who stayed with a Forney family last summer. Melinda came to the U. S. to learn conversational English—and because she had always wanted to see America.
