Claybon Elementary students learn about a positive attitude

Last Wednesday morning, students at Claybon Elementary attended a special assembly to learn about positive attitudes and having a smile, even in difficult times. The assembly was sponsored by the school’s FOR Club for students in foiurth through sixth grade, which is sponsored by Mrs. Shay Minter. Special guests were Patty and Brian Smith, parents of the late Laurren Smith, a Forney student who passed away several years ago after a fight with a rare type of cancer lasting several years.
