‘Toys for Forney Kids’ program receives record number of toys

Once again, a record number of toys were donated by residents from the Forney community for families who needed assistance during the holiday season this year. Each year, a group of local organizations and businesses work together to collect toys for children in the Forney area through the “Toys for Forney Kids – The Community that Cares” program. It was evident that our community cares due to the overwhelming amount of toys that were distributed through other organizations. In total, more than 1,200 toys were distributed to local churches and other programs, while many more will be used throughout the year as the need arises.
