Three Rights Make a Left

A SURPRISE . . . AND A TOUR OF LONDON LANDMARKS

By KEN LEONARD

My son TJ and I made all of the right preparations for the opening of archery season in Texas. We put up a tree blind in the woods that looked like a great place for deer to pass close by. We put up a 350-pound corn feeder buried concrete blocks into the sand to give it a solid foundation. I bought a brand new Barnet Buck Commander Raptor reverse crossbow. I set up an archery range at our pecan orchard and we meticulously sighted it in until every shot hit the center of the target at twenty yards, the same distance our tree stand is from the corn feeder.
