1969 was a very good year!

Just a few years ago, a graduation ceremony took place in the Forney High School Auditorium/Gymnasium. Everyone there had a really “hot” and memorable evening, because the temperature outside was about ninety degrees—and the gym was not air-conditioned. The Baccalaureate Service, with Reverends Harold Greenwood, Jerry Griffin, and H. C. Price officiating, had been held in the F. H. S. auditorium on Sunday evening of May 18, and Graduation followed on Friday evening of May 23.
