Consumers should notice reduced taste and odor events

(Wylie, Texas, July 7, 2014)—The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) began using ozone as the primary disinfectant at its Wylie Water Treatment Plants as of June 26, 2014. As a result, consumers in the NTMWD service area might notice an improvement in the taste and odor of their drinking water.
