Mason is in; Dobbs retires

At Monday night’s (June 9) regular board meeting, Forney school trustees said goodbye to Becky Dobbs, who has served on the Board of Trustees for 12 years. Then they welcomed incoming trustee Cheryl Mason, who was elected during the May 10 school trustee election to fill Ms. Dobbs’ position. Mrs. Mason and trustee Greg Pharris, who was reelected to the board May 10, were issued their certificates of election by Judy Sacco, secretary to the school superintendent, who administered the oath of office to the newly-elected board members.
