LONG MAY IT STAND

Last Saturday morning, there was a dedication ceremony and the unveiling of a Blue Star Memorial Marker that has been placed at the entrance of the Mick Spellman Amphitheater in Forney Community Park. Acquisition and placement of the marker has been a joint project between the City of Forney and the Forney Garden Club. Blue Star Memorial Markers are distributed nationally by Garden Clubs of America, Inc and they commemorate and memorialize all of the men and women who have served or are serving in the U. S. Armed Forces.
