The Big Event’ was a big event!

Last Friday, Aug. 7, the Forney Messenger hosted an open house that began  at 7:00 p. m. at the paper’s location at 201 W. Broad St.  Purpose of the open  house was to show off exterior and interior remodeling  that took place between the late spring of 2014 and  the late spring of 2015. The exterior was remodeled and  repainted during the spring and summer of 2014. Beginning  in February, 2015 the  interior was completely remodeled.  Finishing touches were added to the interior  in late May.
