THE GREAT LOUISIANA/ TEXAS FLOOD OF 2016

The rain started in Northern Louisiana near Shreveport and Monroe. The rain became a torrent and river swelled beyond record levels. A half a dozen towns and communities flooded. I got there soon to help my colleague Dennis McClintock, who has the State of Louisiana in his coverage area for the Churches Of Christ Disaster Relief effort. Truckloads of help started rolling in to several churches in Northern Louisiana.
