Laymen’s Corner

Who can describe GOD or tell about the perfect holiness of GOD theFather, GOD the SON,  or GOD the Holy Spirit? Who can explain how these three persons can be one and still have three different names? I don’t think that we are given the knowledge to know these things. It must be a precious thing to GOD when any person chooses to trust Jesus by faith and follow Him by obeying His written word (the Bible) and commit to live a Christian life. Who can believe that when a person is saved by trusting in Jesus Christ, that GOD the Son will commit Himself to that person for forgiveness of sins for the rest of their lives? Actually, if GOD did not commit Himself to us for the rest of our lives, we would have “no” chance to keep that gift of salvation from Him. GOD knows our weaknesses and surely wishes that we would come to Him for help when we are overwhelmed with temptations of the world and its “things”.
