Gen: 1:14-25: In day four GOD arranged the lights in the heavens to be for signs and times, to guide ships on the sea, and planes in the air. This is a detailed explanation for when GOD said “Let there be light”. GOD created plant life on the third day and since plant life depends on the sun for life, GOD would not have created the plant first. He arranged the sun to shine in the daytime and the moon to shine at night. The stars were arranged in exact locations for mankind’s use in time. Morning and evening was and is one rotation of the earth, 24 hours. If it is possible for GOD to create things at all, why would it take Him longer than one day? The Bible says GOD spoke the world into existence. Surely it did not take Him millions of years to speak.
