Laymen’s Corner

For several years, America has stood on the edge of a cliff overlooking the valley of “no remedy” with one foot raised to take the final step. I don’t know if that step has already been taken, but things seem to point that way. I don’t know if anything can be done to restore the original America or not. This year will surely be filled with turmoil, confusion, mudslinging, and promises no one can keep. I am not wise enough to know if things will be better, no matter who gets elected.
