WHAT HAS GOD MADE ME RESPONSIBLE FOR?
First, I have life and a body to move around with. Just like anything with moving parts, the body requires regular maintenance and care. We also have the responsibility of using our bodies for GOD’S service. After becoming a Christian, my body became the temple of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says that if anyone destroys GOD’S temple, GOD will destroy them. I don’t think this means that we should spend all our time exercising to maintain perfect health, but we should be mindful that GOD the Holy Spirit lives in our bodies 24/7 and we don’t need to bring in unholy food and drink.
