Giuliani should not have pre-judged Obama’s motives

York Mayor Rudi Giuliani, apparently referring to President Barack Obama’s course in foreign policy, remarked that President Obama does not love the United States—all because Obama’s foreign policy program is one that differs from what Giuliani might do. The remark has divided Republicans, and possibly the American people as a whole. In my own mind, Giuliani’s remark was a slap at the dignity of the Presidential office—but, on the other hand, Giuliani had a right to say what he did under America’s Constitutional right to free speech.
