HOPPIN’ AROUND

Our final issue for November bore the cover date of Nov. 27, 2014. This week the cover date is Dec. 4, and the Christmas season is about to begin officially in Forney. What a difference one week can make! This Saturday, beginning at noon, the City of Forney will usher in the official local Christmas season with another edition of “Christmas on Main” in downtown Forney. This communitywide celebration will last until 6:30 p. m. and it’s hoped that it will draw not only Forney residents, but people from surrounding communities.
