Guilty or not guilty, Manziel case has a lesson for all of us

Johnny Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, has been indicted on an assault in an attack on his former girlfriend, Colleen Crowly, that is alleged to have occurred Jan. 30 of this year. The indictment followed prolonged speculation in the press regarding the fate of the former NFL quarterback. Whether Manziel is declared guilty or is declared not guilty of the charge, his name has become almost synonymous with domestic violence.
