The FBI managed to unlock an iPhone used by two deceased terrorists—and without Apple’s help. Apple was locked in a legal skirmish with the FBI when it refused to help unlock the iPhone, citing privacy issues it holds dear. In response, the FBI started legal proceedings, claiming that in this one instance, a lawsuit would be necessary in the interest of national security.
