Van Waggoner leads Lovejoy past Forney High School, 35-21

FORNEY—Led by their quarterback/wide receiver duo of Carson Collins and Chase Van Waggoner, the Lovejoy Leopards defeated Forney High School by a count of 35-21 on Thursday, October 6. For the game, Collins completed 18 of 35 passes for 188 yards and 3 TDs while Van Waggoner had 10 receptions for 114 yards and 3 TDs. Also, Van Waggoner returned the opening kickoff of the game 99 yards for a TD as well.
