Rotary Reflections

Forney Rotary Club began its meeting on December 10 by working out the logistics of delivering Christmas gifts to the 127 children that we had committed for. I had a lot of fun shopping for the kids—I’m not a good shopper, but I really got into picturing the child I was assigned, and then finding items and toys that would match their age, etc. The main speaker for this date was Judge David Lewis, who spoke to us about a year ago on items before the Supreme Court, and sure enough, he talked about cases before the Supreme Court again—and boy, is it interesting and controversial!
