Just Ask, Already!

My theory is that 99% of our arguments would be unnecessary if my husband would just man up and ask me directly for what he wants. Now I know that’s unfair and not a little unkind, but I swear the man drives me up a wall with his “requests disguised as questions.” Here’s an example. “Do you know how Mary (not her real name) is doing?” Refusing to look up from the book I’m reading, I reply, “No I don’t.”
